The Instituto Brasileiro de Rebocagem - IBR (Brazilian Towing Institute) is a private, non-profit organization, focused on maritime consultancy using the tug as a tool to eliminate restrictions on any type of maritime and port operations.

The studies that resulted in the creation of the IBR started in 1999, its foundation occurred in 2008 to provide training with the highest quality, legal advice, technical services and maritime consultancy for the maritime community. Our principles are service excellence, reliability and integrity.
